About the event

Susan Sahab (she/her) is a visual artist and photographer based in Denver, Colorado. She received her BA in Art History with a minor in Studio Art from the University of South Florida where she focused on Islamic and Ottoman Art and Architecture. Her personal work focuses on themes of nostalgia, identity, and diaspora, and includes mediums such as illustration (digital and traditional), painting, printmaking, and photography. She currently works on a specialist team focusing on art and design research. Prior to this, she was the registrar and later assistant director at David Cook Galleries in Denver working on acquisitions, consignments, and appraisals, and worked as an art instructor and curator at the Gwangju International Center in South Korea.
